The Marked: Visual Development

The Marked is a personal project set in an ancient world, where both the spiritual and the material are key realms. There are Old Gods, humans and non-humans, magickal unknowns, clans, nomads, and townspeople, and a despotic monarchy in the process of forming a kingdom. Gemini, as denoted on some of my work, is a substory within the world of The Marked, set far away from where TM takes place.

I further developed this world for my Final Year Project at university, and have continued to do so for the enjoyment of evolving my ideas and as a means to practice and explore. As my FYP, the aim was to showcase my strengths in character work, as well as my newfound eagerness and confidence in environments and props, whilst generating a visual scope to glimpse into the world I had created.
